At the world championships F3B in Ivancice Martin Herrig was able to repeat his victory from 2007 with the Freestyler 3 RDS * after an exciting showdown.

Also at the German Open F3F at Rügen, maybe one of the most highly esteemed slope flying competitions of the season, the Freestyler 3 excelled in stormy wind.

In F3K the SALpeter again constituted the maybe most successful glider of the season. At 11 of 18 Eurotour competitions SALpeter pilots were on a podium place.
At the International German Open in Nardt with 93 participants from 15 nations difficult thermal conditions with rather much wind were prevailing. As already last year seven of twelve Fly-Off pilots were relying on the SALpeter.

* The Freestyler 3 wing now is also available without the horn covers and can be ordered with installed RDS (servos mounted if desired, S3150 or DS3288). Alternatively the servo frames with integrated ball bearing can be installed, realizing conventional linkages with short horns in own responability.
Once again a very successful season is behind us. For example in the F3K-Eurotour 10 of the 18 competitions were won with SALpeter. Only three times there was no SALpeter in the top three, which in view of the drastically increased number of available models is not a matter of course!
It was urgent since a long long time, but finally now the description of the SALpeter was added to the homepage.
Order form for Freestyler 3 ready. 2.4 GHz-version of the Freestyler 3-fuselage now available. Due to increased material and supply costs, which in case of the Freestyler mainly result from currency fluctuations, we unfortunately have to slightly increase some prices from beginning of January 2009 on.
New Aspirin-orders are only accepted in exceptional cases. Spare parts remain available.
Additionally to our existing portfolio we now also offer the servo mounting frames with ball bearing for the Freestyler 3.

To solve the problem, it is just necessary to drop a little epoxy filled with short carbon fibres into the nose, sand away 0.4 mm from the tip after curing and finally round the nose again.
With the newer SALpeter fuselage the problem does not exist.

Towards the end of the year series production is expected to be started. Up to now only a few pre-series models could be delivered. Order form for the SALpeter at Downloads.
Fortunately building the moulds and planes did not impact too much the preparations for the WC F3B. In Emmen Martin and Andreas could get place 1 and 2 and together with Reinhard Liese win the team cup, too.
The order form for the Aspirin has been brought to new state, also at Downloads. Furthermore there are new proposals for settings and components of the Freestyler 3.

The year 2007 brought some changes in german VAT, rising from 16 to 19 %. We had noticed that, but only now was time to update the site. It affects only the prices including VAT, however.
New wing versions available for the Aspirin: Kevlar-D-box for more robustness and torsional rigidity. Often demanded, the Aspirin 2007 will be made with carbon-rovings in the leading edge as a choice. Premium and Standard version discontinued.

86 pilots from 15 nations made this a European or even World Championship like event. Relatively tricky conditions were prevailing with rather strong winds and weak thermals. This made demands both for the pilots and the models, as you had to be able to climb in very light thermals, but also return from far downwind. Fly-Off places 1,3,4 and 8 were flown with an Aspirin.

The Aspirin-Team was very successful at the International German Championship F3K (quasi EC) in Munich.
Of 8 Aspirins 4 reached the Fly-Off. Martin missed the title very closely and got 6th through a questionable penalty, Stephan was 7th, Andreas 9th, Rainer 12th.
